Tasting notes
We have been pleasantly surprised by the nice aromas, great freshness, complexity and structure of the Sauvignon Blanc planted in the great terroir of the village of Treiso in the Barbaresco region, which is enriching our “L’Altro” since a few years. That’s why we have decided to vinify separately a small portion of Sauvignon and we called it “Blanc”.
Fresh and fruity with good sapidity and minerality, great structure and complexity coming from our terroir.
Very long life.
Blanc will certainly benefit from additional time spent in bottle.
Viticulture
Produced in very small quantities and sourced from our Family-owned vineyard “Il Bricco” in Treiso, (one of highest point of the entire Barbaresco region) close to our historical Nebbiolo for Barbaresco vineyards, and from Bossania vineyard in Trezzo Tinella with an elevation of nearly 480 meters.
